It’s that time again, folks! We have another fantastic market lined up for you this week.

The baby goats will be back again! Sage Meadow Farm and Valley Hot Yoga will be presenting their extremely generous donation checks to our local charities and the farmers’ market. They will have their wonderful baby goats along with them this week to celebrate!

We will have some great tunes from Greg Reil and Hunter Lefebvre to enjoy for the day.

Here is what you can expect from our vendors this week:

Blue Sun Perennials will be at market with a wide assortment of perennials and herbs.

Chicoine Family Farm will bring a wide selection of grass-fed beef.

Crooked Stick Pops-This week we’ll have strawberry lemonade, watermelon hibiscus, pineapple coconut, mango lassi, and blueberry lavender lemonade.

Five a Day Farm will be at market with kale, lettuce, mixed greens, radishes, turnips, basil planters and wild garlic!

Lovefield Way Garden Arts will have fresh cut herbs and flowers, crocheted hanging baskets, succulent terrariums, arugula and other greens and some potted plants.

Nuestras Raices will be joining us with green garlic, basil, flowers, garlic scapes, and greens.

Riverside Gardens is coming and they will have vegetable, flower, herb and fruit bedding plants/starters along with a variety of greens!

Sage Meadow Farm will have an assortment of goat milk soap. We will also be offering goat milk cheeses from our foundation farm, Valley View, which includes an assortment of fresh chèvre, delicious feta, and their specialty tome cheese…..AND BABY GOATS!

White Cedar Farm will be bringing Organic Strawberries, Rhubarb, Greens, Garlic, Potted herbs and tomatoes, Honey and eggs, Shiitake Mushrooms.

June 17th!

 

Get excited! After all of this rain and sunshine the plants and veggies are off to a great start! Join us this week for local produce, local goods, pony rides from Welsh Creek Farm Adventures, and live music from Kelsey Bird and Evan Matthew.

Here are some things that our vendors will have….

Hilltown Grazers will be bringing pork chops, St. Louis ribs, pork butt and shoulder, Bratwurst, Liverwurst, no-nitrate hot dogs, hams and other goodies.

Passalongs will be at market with a variety of jams, tabletop succulent gardens, hanging hydroponic gardens, and lots and lots of flowers!

Riverside Gardens  will be bringing lots of salad mix and leaf lettuce, some radishes and cut flowers and limited red Russian kale and limited Swiss chard as well as a few trays of bedding plants and potted tomatoes.

White Cedar Farm is bringing Rhubarb, Organic Strawberries, Lettuce, Garlic, Shiitake Mushrooms, Farm Fresh Eggs, Honey, Garden Plants and herbs.

Lovefield Way Garden Arts will have vegetable, herb and flower starts, cut flowers, fresh herbs, succulent terrariums and crochet hanging planters and jars. 

Nuestras-Riaces will have baby lettuce, baby kale, green garlic, garlic scapes, turnips, basil, cilantro and snapdragons and Pea Shoots (micro greens)

 

 

June 10th! Cultural Chaos!

Signs of summer are appearing!  The sun is finally shining and we are expecting a beautiful Saturday for the market and Easthampton’s annual Cultural Chaos!

The Prindle School will be joining us this week and preforming a wide variety of music, instrument demonstrations, student performances and sample piano lessons!

This week at the market you can expect:

Blue Sun Perennials will have a wide assortment of perennial and herb plants.

Five a Day Farm is bringing plants, lettuce, kale, radish, and mixed greens

Hilltown Grazers will be bringing pork chops, St. Louis ribs, pork butt and shoulder, Bratwurst, Liverwurst, no-nitrate hot dogs, hams and other goodies.

Passalongs will have mixed flower bouquets (peonies! lupine, orlaya, daisies, love-in-mist, ferns, iris), succulent gardens, hanging hydroponic gardens, and lots and lots of jam.

Riverside Gardens  will be bringing leaf and Romaine lettuce, salad mix, baby blue kale and baby red Russian kale, radishes, swiss chard, rhubarb and chives as well as a limited amount of bedding plants, potted flowers and herbs.

White Cedar Farm is bringing hanging baskets, garden plants, herbs and flowers, raw, local honey, farm fresh eggs, rhubarb, and shiitake mushrooms.

Lovefield Way Garden Arts will have vegetable, herb and flower starts, cut flowers, fresh herbs, succulent terrariums and crochet hanging planters and jars. 

ElleNaturel will have handcrafted bath & beauty products.  Featuring great gifts for fathers day, like beard oil, Natural Pest Be Gone bug repellent and shaving soap set.

June already? WOW! June 3 at Market

For us farmer types, May went by at the speed of light! Lucky for you, visitors to the Easthampton Farmers’ and Makers’ Market, because the further we get in the season, the more wonderful variety we are able to bring to you!

This week we have pony rides at market! Super fun! Welsh Creek Farm Adventures is bringing Tinkerbell to market for the little ones to ride. We will have music by market favorites, Jim Eagan and Paul Sticca.

Our fantastic sponsors, the Easthampton PTO, will be making dreamcatchers at the kids’ craft tent.

Our regular vendors will be at market, too! Here’s who is coming and what they are bringing:

May 27 at the Market: PETTING ZOO, WOO!

We are super psyched to have Pine Hill Farm’s petting zoo at market this Saturday! This is their second year with us in a row…dare we call it a tradition?

It’s FOOD TRUCK time, too! Mothership Gourmet will be serving up breakfast for market goers. This is some tasty food, people. Order up!

Peter Blanchette will be keeping us well entertained with his gorgeous music all day long, and of course we’ll have free coffee for you, provided by our sponsor, Shelburne Farms Coffee Roasters of Easthampton! Oh – and it’s National Grape Popsicle Day on Saturday! Who knew? So of course, in addition to all the great flavors Crooked Stick is bringing (see below) she will also have plenty of grape.

Crooked Stick Pops wants you to know that May 27 is National Grape Popsicle Day! To celebrate, they’ll be offering Grape Pops! They’ll also have Key Lime, Blueberry with Toasted Coconut, Watermelon Mint, Mango Basil Lemon layered with Pineapple Ginger, and Strawberry Lemonade.

Five a Day Farm will be at market with kale, lettuce, mixed greens, and radishes.  They’ll also have starter plants: cherry and slicing tomato, strawberry, basil, parsley, zucchini, and possibly some lettuce.

Lovefield Way Garden Arts is bringing vegetable, herb and flower starts, succulent planters, flowers and crocheted hanging baskets.

Nuestras Raices will be joining us with veggie starts, baby kale, radishes, baby mustard greens, spinach.

Passalongs Flower Farm and Wicked Small Batch Jammery will have flowers (including lupine, orlaya, poppies, anemone, false Solomon’s seal, ferns, iris, and allium), jams, and succulent gardens. It’s not too late to sign up for the 6-week FLOWER CSA, which starts in July. It can include delivery!

Riverside Gardens is coming and they will have vegetable, flower, herb and fruit bedding plants/starters as well as rhubarb and scallions.

May 20 at the Easthampton Farmers’ and Makers Market!

Our second market of the season will bring more goodness, more freshness, and more local wonderfulness right to your doorstep, Easthampton! Our vendors are really bringing it, with lots of plants, plant starts, greens, prepared foods, meats, flowers…you name it, we got it.

We’ll have two local musicians/groups this week: early in the day we’ll host Margot Smith, a young, folky, singer song writer and musician, and after 11, Special K akoustik will be keeping it entertaining for us!

Blue Sun Perennials will be at market with houseplants, herbs, and a wide variety of perennials.

ElleNaturel is making their market debut with handmade bath & beauty products, body butters, lip balm, shimmer and glosses, soap, bath salts & bombs, hand and cuticle balm, beard and perfume oils.

Five a Day Farm will be at market with kale, lettuce, mixed greens, and radishes.  They’ll also have starter plants: cherry and slicing tomato, strawberry, basil, parsley, zucchini, and possibly some lettuce.

Hilltown Grazers will be bringing pork chops, St. Louis ribs, pork butt and shoulder, Bratwurst, Liverwurst, no-nitrate hot dogs, hams and other goodies. Oh, and piglets!

Passalongs Flower Farm and Wicked Small Batch Jammery will have 20+ kinds of jams, tabletop succulent gardens, hanging hydroponic gardens, and fresh, fragrant flower arrangements.

Riverside Gardens is coming Saturday and they will have vegetable, flower, herb and fruit bedding plants/starters as well as rhubarb and scallions.

White Cedar Farm will be bringing potted herbs, flowers, and vegetable plants, strawberry and rhubarb plants, hanging baskets, raw, local honey, eggs, shiitake mushrooms, and cut arugula, asparagus, rhubarb and fresh herbs.

Opening Day is Around the Corner!

Please join us for Opening Day of our 2017 season! We will have lots of Mother’s Day gift ideas, plenty of plant starts, jams, flowers, and much more.

We’ll have a free seed planting for kids, sponsored by the Easthampton PTO. We’ll enjoy the soothing sounds of market music from Peter Blanchette.

gourdsThis week at the Easthampton Farmers’ and Makers’ Market we have juggling, music, and of course, wonderful, local, farm-fresh products for you to enjoy! It’s our last market of the year so take advantage!

Right across from us will be Paradise City Dragon Boats! For a donation, you can ride a dragon boat on the pond. The World Language Club from Easthampton High School will also be at market, so check them out as well.

From 10-12 we’ll be entertained by “James of the Juggling Bards!” Fun! We’ll also have music from Sheryl Stanton, and in the afternoon we’ll have Jim Eagan and the Prindle School!
