Oh, how time flies! The final market of the season is upon us. Make sure to stop by for the last of the amazing harvests that have sustained us this year. If you haven’t joined our mailing list, visit the manager’s tent! You can also enjoy a cup of Shelburne Falls coffee, and get SNAP coins there. Help our market continue to grow! We welcomes questions, comments, ideas, and inquiries regarding the 2019 season. See you there!

Stoney Brook Cider is bringing their award-winning hard cider. Perfect for any fall gathering, bring home a bottle today!

Passalongs will be at market with a JAM BLOWOUT. All jams are just $4 each! Also – lots of flowers, as well as some eggs from very disgruntled chickens 😉

Stoney Creek Farm will have fresh meat, yummy home baked treats, bread, preserves, and goat cheese, including feta and chevre.

Dave Lovler will be here to with an awesome method of composting leaves, turning them into a valuable soil amendment, mulch, or potting material!

Mayval Farm is bringing beef, whole cow’s milk (plain and chocolate), maple cream, and delectable cheese curds.

PJ Niver will be here to discuss “The Culture of Reuse” and the plastic free challenge.

Sage Meadow Farm will have a variety of organic goat milk soap made right here in Easthampton!

Riverside Garden will have fresh veggies, grown using organic practices. Come and support their awesome mission!

Pearl Street Mushrooms will have an abundance of fresh mushrooms, and delicious infused nut butters. Darien is a wealth of knowledge and is always happy to share fun recipe ideas!

Stephanie Levine from The Emily Williston Memorial Library will be here helping folks sign up for library cards.

 

 

September 29 at the Market

The cool weather is setting in and market season is winding down, but we still have an abundance of fresh food for you this week. Come out and support your local farmers and makers. We take SNAP and HIP! We have coffee!! And don’t forget, it’s dragon boat time!! Across from the market, check out the third annual Ride the Dragon Competition on Nashawannuck Pond. They’ll have food vendors, raffles, children’s activities, dragon boat rides and more. There’s no better way to spend a warm autumn day!

Sapowsky Farm will have tomatoes, corn, broccoli, cauliflower, winter squash, peaches, kale, peppers (both hot and sweet), onions, potatoes, Brussels sprouts, carrots, lettuce, apples, pears, plums, beans, and eggplants.

Kirk’ Creations will have Stukitz Kraut, vegan kimchi, fermented hot sauce infusion, and smoked hot pepper salsa as well as Blaukraut, fermented red hot sauce, and plenty of super hot peppers.

LifeBooch is bringing both ginger and raspberry grapefruit kombucha!

Sweet JJs will have bourbon pumpkin tarts, blueberry yogurt muffins, cranberry walnut sourdough, financiers, croissants, cinnamon rolls, almond cloud cookies, golden raisin oatmeal cookies, emoji lemon sugar cookies, and lemon tarts.

Mayval Farm will be there with milk (plain and chocolate), skyr, cheese curds, and beef.

Stony Creek Farm will have delicious handmade goat cheeses, an assortment of pickles and preserves, baked goods, and meat.

The wonderful Miss Danielle will be at Kids’ Tent with fierce dragon crafts!

Sarah Amoroso from the Easthampton Elementary PTO will be selling beverages as a fundraiser to help develop events and activities that promote community engagement, support the arts and extend the lessons of the classroom out into the larger world. Come down and help out a great cause!

Mama Life Oils is our guest vendor this week, with all natural household products made with essential oils.

September 22 at the Market

It’s almost market day! Join us this Saturday for a festive array of late summer and early fall produce, kids crafts, sweet tunes, and a cup of coffee from Shelburne Falls Coffee Roasters. Gift giving season is right around the corner, so stock up on your favorite handmade market items and support the small businesses and farmers that have helped our market grow! We take SNAP, and participate in HIP!

Sapowsky Farm is coming with crisp apples, corn, peaches, beans, pumpkins, beets, lettuce, greens, spinach, cauliflower, broccoli, peppers (both hot and sweet), cinnamon bread, pears, juicy plums, cabbage, carrots, brussel sprouts, radishes, winter squash, and ripe tomatoes.

Elle Naturels will be here with her all natural beauty products, soaps, and cosmetics.

Sweet JJs will have apple strudel muffins, financiers, as well as their veggie bake, almond and chocolate croissants, cinnamon rolls, almond cloud cookies, golden raisin oatmeal cookies, emoji lemon sugar cookies, and lemon tarts.

Pearl Street Mushroom Farm will have their delicious nut butters and a load of fresh mushrooms!

Mayval Farm will be there with tasty maple cream, fresh milk, skyr, cheese, and beef.

Five a Day Farm will have summer and spaghetti squash, green beans, tatsoi, kale, swiss chard, tomatoes, and cukes.

Miss Danielle will be back this week at the Kid’s Tent with an apple craft as we welcome in the autumn!

Market tunes by the talented Greg Reil in the morning, followed by market newcomer Andrew Biagiarelli, a recent Western Mass transplant with a style that ranges from folk and blues to jazz-infused.

September 15 at the Market

It’s finally starting to feel like Fall in the Pioneer Valley! Put on a comfy scarf, and head on down to the Saturday market. Lots of vendors, tons of options! As always, SNAP and HIP accepted!

LifeBooch is back with ginger kombucha and hopefully, strawberry basil. Come by and try their newest flavor addition, raspberry grapefruit!

Riverside Gardens will have tons of fresh veggies!

Passalongs Farm will be at market with JAMS ON SALE! Fresh flower bouquets, and tabletop succulent gardens. This is one of their last markets of the year and it’s CLEARANCE time! All jams will be $4 each! Stock up for the fall and winter!

Stoneybrook Cider will have their artisanal hard cider, made in the New England tradition from apples hand picked here in the Pioneer Valley.

Sapowsky Farm will be there with a truckload of spectacular seasonal fruits and veggies.

Parkhill Orchard will have fresh pressed cider, warm peach pies, and crisp fall apples; our favorite New England season has arrived!

Sweet JJs will have pumpkin apple streusel muffins for all the Fall lovers out there, as well as their incredible veggie bake, almond and chocolate croissants, cinnamon rolls, almond cloud cookies, golden raisin oatmeal cookies, emoji lemon sugar cookies, and lemon tarts.

Pearl Street Mushroom Farm will have their yummy medicinal nut butters and a load of fresh mushrooms!

Mayval Farm will be there with tasty maple cream, skyr, cheese, and beef.

Kirk’s Creations will have his famous Stukitz kraut, jalapeño garlic kraut, blaukraut, fermented cucumbers, hot sauce, and smoked hot pepper salsa, as well as HOT peppers straight from the garden!

Stony Creek Farm will have an assortment of pickles and preserves, pies and cookies, fresh baked bread, and goat cheese and meat.

Five a Day Farm will have summer and spaghetti squash, green beans, tatsoi, kale, swiss chard, tomatoes, and cukes.

The Prindle School will our market guests, performing demos and giving out information about music lessons for all ages and abilities.

Music by the talented Greg Reil, followed by jazz vocalist Steve Lipman performing selections from the Great American Songbook with Dan Prindle on bass, Colin Jalbert on drums, and Jimmy Robitaille on keys.

September 8 at the Market

Hi folks! Visit the Saturday market to get the bounty of the season. As the summer begins to wind down, our dedicated farmers are still harvesting plenty of warm weather fruits and veggies. Apples and winter squash are also starting to make an appearance. Need ideas for what to do with all of the interesting produce at the market? Our vendors are happy to help! Parkhill Orchard has a delicious assortment of early fall apples. It’s looking like their last week with peaches. They taste great and freeze well. Come enjoy before we have to say goodbye! And of course, raw wildflower honey from Red Barn Honey Company.

Mayval Farm will have milk (white and chocolate), a variety of fresh cheese including fromage blanc, camem-mere and cheese curds, and this week’s special, their famous peach skyr!

David Lovler is bringing an assortment of veggies including onions, garlic, shallots, purple daikon radish, and Thai basil.

Parkhill Orchard will have mounds of  larger than life peaches and a cornucopia of apples including the “cotton candy” of all apples—the Zesta!

Five a Day Farm will have tomatoes, cucumbers, summer squash, green beans, tatsoi, and kale. Yum!

Pearl Street Mushroom Farm is coming with freshly harvested pink oyster mushrooms, infused nut butters, and other goodies.

The weather is going to be beautiful tomorrow! Slowly but surely more veggies are starting to make their way to the market! Every week the variety is growing!

Passalongs Farm will be bringing some DAD favorites to market this week: freshly-made pineapple pepper jam, strawberry jalapeno jam, and strawberry black pepper preserves! We’ll have a bunch more jam flavors, fresh flower bouquets, tabletop succulent gardens, hanging houseplants, and eggs.

Kirk’s Creations – Sauerkraut variations, blaukraut, vegan Kimchi (no fish sauce), fermented hot sauces, other fermented fruits and vegetables, and smoked hot pepper salsa. New recipe to sample! Fermented Rhubarb!

Riverside Gardens will have radishes, fresh greens, plant starts, house plants and flowers.

Lenora will be joining us this week with some gorgeous local jewelry! “My jewelry is designed with upcycled materials from donations. Often materials are donated when someone might lose one earring, discover a necklace is broken, or wish to simply get rid of old or out of style jewelry. I then disassemble all materials, fully clean them, and begin the design process to create new and unique piece of work.”

David Lovler will be joining us to teach us how to effectively use a backyard composter and answer any gardening or composting questions!

GREAT NEWS: The HIP program has been reinstated, this week our HIP vendor, Sapowsky Farms, will be joining us!!

That’s right folks!

This week we are having an ECA sponsored Integrative Sciences Mini-Festival!

We will be teaching kids about composting, holding a science related craft at the kids tent and will have live music and story telling!

Passalongs Flower Farm and Wicked Small Batch Jammery will be at the market with many varieties of home-made jam, hanging hydroponic gardens, and fresh, locally grown flowers and homemade muffins!

Five A Day Farm will be coming with cherry tomatoes,green beans, zukes, kale

Riverside Gardens  will have lettuce mix, curly and red russian kale, chard, radishes, cucumbers, lunchbox peppers, green peppers, jalapeños, basil carrots and mint, all grown naturally and with love!

Sage Meadow Farm will have an assortment of goat milk soap. .

White Cedar Farm is bringing Watermelons, Savoy Cabbage, Zucchini, Cucumbers, Tomatoes, Mycoterra Farm Shiitake Mushrooms, Green Acres Fruit Farm Eggs and Honey, Saltbox Seasonings.

Passalongs Flower Farm and Wicked Small Batch Jammery will be at market with a wide variety of jams, home-made seasoning salts, fresh flower bouquets, hydroponic hanging gardens, home-grown and hand-made garlic wreaths, and 2 kinds of home-made muffins!

Five A Day Farm will be coming with cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, green beans, beets, radishes, lettuce, swiss chard, red kale, and zucchini.

Riverside Gardens  will have juicy tomatoes, tender lettuce mix, crunchy beans, cucumbers, bell peppers and jalapeno peppers, kale, Swiss chard, rhubarb, basil, sage and chives all grown naturally and with love!

Sage Meadow Farm will have an assortment of goat milk soap. We will also be offering goat milk cheeses from our foundation farm, Valley View, which includes an assortment of fresh chèvre, delicious feta, and their specialty tome cheese.

Revival Homestead Supply will be joining us with handmade/natural body products and their DIY kits!

White Cedar Farm is bringing Farm Fresh Eggs, Raw, Local Honey, Local Maple Syrup, Shiitake Mushrooms, Fresh Cut Herbs, Cucumbers, Potted Herbs.

Saltbox Seasonings will be offering handcrafted, small batch gourmet seasonings, infused and herbed gourmet finishing and cooking salts, gourmet sugar blends, cocktail rimming mixes, barbeque and grilling blends, salt-free seasonings.  They use local (e.g., fresh garlic scapes and dill weed from local farmers) whenever possible and welcome special customer requests for custom seasoning and sugar blends.

Prindle Music School will be joining us for some great tunes and some awesome mini music lessons! Make sure to stop by their tent!
