The Easthampton Farmers’ Market is proud to provide SNAP processing to our market customers, and many of our individual vendors can process SNAP as well.
Foods at market that qualify for SNAP (from the USDA website):
Any food for the household, such as:
- Fruits and vegetables;
- Meat, poultry, and fish;
- Dairy products;
- Breads and cereals;

HIP (Healthy Incentives Program) at our market:
Our market is really excited to be part of a grant, facilitated through CISA, to raise awareness and use of HIP (the Healthy Incentives Program) at our market. HIP is a program where folks who use SNAP can receive fresh fruits and vegetables at no charge when they buy through a participating farm! This program has been very popular in Massachusetts and we are excited to have participating vendors at market.
If you want to use HIP at our market and have questions, please ask the Market Manager!
