Good afternoon!

Here’s who is coming to the market this weekend and what they are bringing! We are anticipating a lovely day tomorrow, and we hope to see lots of you out doing your shopping with us!

Here’s who’s coming to market this week:

 

Crooked Stick Pops is bringing Peach Lemonade, Strawberry Watermelon Fruit Punch, Chocolate Banana, Passionfruit + Watermelon, Blueberry Lavender + Lemon Cream pops!

Lifebooch is coming with Strawberry Basil, Ginger, Mango Jalapeno, and Sangria kombucha!

Mayval Farm is coming with cheese, skyr, milk, kefir, beef and maple products!

Riverside will have a ton of veggie and herb starts, beets, Kale, Rainbow chard, along with succulent terrariums and houseplants

Sweet Morning Farm will have PORK bacon, ham steak, hotdogs, ribs, loin chops, country ribs, shoulder, sausage, and more.  All rotationally grazed on fresh pasture and organic feed! FLOWERS beautiful bouquets in abundance EGGS organic fed, pasture raised, and colorful VEGETABLES tomatoes, basil, peppers, eggplant, onions, garlic, leeks, happy rich broccoli, cauliflower, beans, fennel, cucumbers, squash, salad mix, Malabar and New Zealand spinach, beets, carrots, salad turnips, scallions, radishes, kale, chard, mustard, cabbage, Napa cabbage, potatoes, herbs, and CORN!

PJ Niver with Culture of Reuse will be back! Culture of Reuse is an educational project that connects people with ideas, tools, craftspeople, local groups, and their neighbors to begin to think differently about how we live. It is both an awareness campaign of the social and environmental effects of our current single use culture and direct support to help people acquire and sustain new skills to explore and adopt a reuse lifestyle. PJ will also have stainless steel straws, tea infusers, and bamboo sporks.

PONY RIDES! We are so happy to have Welsh Creek Adventures back with pony rides for kids!

Sweet Morning Farm says “It’s still summer and we now have hotdogs!  Nitrate free in natural casings made with our own organic fed, pasture raised pork!” PORK  Bacon is back! Ham steaks, loin chops, country ribs, shoulder, hotdogs, sausage, ribs, and more! EGGS Organic fed, pasture raised, and colorful! FLOWERS Lots of great bouquets to brighten up your day! Easthampton Planning Commission will be doing a demonstration with ValleyBikes! Come by to try out an electric assist bike and get info on how to sign up to use them.

PJ Niver will be there with Culture of Reuse. In addition to information on reuse, gifting communities, and recycling education, this week she will also have information about how to find and purchase items not wrapped in plastic packaging, reuseable items that can replace single use items, and gifting some water bottles.

Market July 27th

Good afternoon!

This week we are focusing on summer fruits! We will have PEACHES for sale at Park Hill Orchard. We will have fruit and berry scented soaps, popsicles, and ideas for using fruit in your weekly menus! Also we have CORN!

Market July 13th

Good afternoon!

It’s BABY GOAT DAY!!!! Sage Meadow Farm will be bringing baby goats to market for petting and adoring! The gentlemen of Sage Meadow Farm will be at the market with their kids (of goat yoga fame!) and will be available to share their extensive knowledge of goat care with anyone interested in learning more about raising goats.

Mayval Farm is coming with cheese, skyr, milk, kefir, beef and maple products, cookies and parfaits!

Riverside will have a ton of veggie and herb starts, along with houseplants, succulents, and spider plants

Sweet Morning Farm this week they will have more nice Kale, Swiss Chard, and Bok Choy.  There is also more head lettuce and a good harvest of mesclun mix. New this week are some wonderful Escarole and Yokatta Na, an Asian green that is like a hybrid of Bok Choy and Chard.  Also more great Beets, Carrots, New Potatoes, Summer Squash, Cauliflower, Cherry Tomatoes, Garlic Scapes, Herbs, and more!

Also don’t forget pasture raised, organic fed pork and eggs, and flowers too!

They just picked up a bunch of pork from the butcher, so it’s a great time to order a 20 lb discount bundle!  Stop by the market or contact the farm for details.

Easthampton Youth Soccer Association (EYSA) will be on hand collecting gently used soccer cleats for their annual gear swap. All sizes welcome. Donated pairs will be made available to EYSA players and families for the upcoming season. EYSA volunteers will also be on hand to provide information on registration for the fall season and answer questions.

David Lovler will provide compost conversation and advice. His veggie offerings will include beets, red kohlrabi, scallions. He will also have  garden seeds for summer and fall planting.

Crooked Stick Pops is happy to announce that one of their newest pop slingers, Roxanne, will be at the market this week – stop by the pop stand and say Hi! And while you’re there, pick up a strawberry rhubarb, lemon cream, blackberry and lemon coconut, or coconut iced coffee pop.

Manhan Organics is bringing lettuce heads, baby lettuce mix, radishes, kale, snap peas, and eggs

There is a LOT going on in downtown Easthampton this weekend! Cultural Chaos will be happening on Cottage Street starting at noon, and there will be lots of cool things to see and do, after you get your market shopping done of course! We will have great produce and products available and will be open our regular hours, from 9-1. Please be aware the Cottage Street will be closed to traffic starting at 10am and plan accordingly.
